Ven, bello gato, a mi amoroso pecho;

al horror de tinieblas y al silencio se guían;
los fúnebres corceles del Erebo serían,
si pudieran al látigo ceder su majestad.
Adoptan cuando sueñan las nobles actitudes
de alargadas esfinges, que en vastas latitudes
solitarias se duermen en un sueño inmutable;
Mágicas chispas yerguen sus espaldas tranquilas,
y partículas de oro, como arena agradable,
estrellan vagamente sus místicas pupilas.

GATO NEGRO (EMMA POSADA)
andrajosa y hambrienta no hade venir ahora;
Gato negro, bohemio de los tejados;

Nuestros corazones, amando a porfía,
Nuestros corazones, amando a porfía,

NO ONE IS THERE (SOPOR AETERNUS)
Now and then i'm scared, when i seem to forget
how sounds become words or even sentances...
no, i don't speak anymore and what could i say, since no-one is there and there is nothing to say... So, i prefer to lie in darkest silence alone...
listening to the lack of light, or sound,
or someone to talk to, for something to share...
but there is no hope and no-one is there.
No, no, no... not one living soul
and there is nothing (left) to say,
in darkness i lie all alone by myself,
sleeping most of the time to endure the pain.
I am not breathing a word, i haven't spoken for weeks
and yet the mistress inside me is (secretly) straining her ears.
but there is no-one, and it seems to me at times
that with every passing hour another word is leaving my mind...
I am the mistress of loneliness, my court is deserted but i do not care.
the presence of people is ugly and cold
and something i can neither watch nor bear.
So, i prefer to lie in darkest silence alone,
listening to the lack of light, or sound,
or someone to talk to, for something to share...
but there is no hope and no-one is there.
No, i don't speak anymore and what should i say, since no-one is there and there is nothing to say?
all is oppressive, alles ist schwer,
there is no-one and no-one is there...
how sounds become words or even sentances...

BEAUTIFUL THORN (SOPOR AETERNUS)
Ivy Kiseed he Shadows,
As Mnorning lusts for dew...
she with lips of sweetest pain lies in wait for you.
with the dawn she went away before mist veiled the earth; nothing reamined, except for the wounds, the olny gift of her. "Oh, For Themselves They Should Despair,
When our graves lie in silence,
but we're not there! when theres are voices...
close to your ear, but...no reflection...is hauting the mirror with the dawn we went away before mist veiled the earth, nothing remains, except of the woundm the only goft...
of him, me, or her.

VICEVERSA (MARIO BENEDETTI)
Tengo miedo de verte
necesidad de verte
esperanza de verte
desazones de verte.
Tengo ganas de hallarte
preocupación de hallarte
certidumbre de hallarte
pobres dudas de hallarte.
Tengo urgencia de oírte
alegría de oírte
buena suerte de oírte
y temores de oírte.
O sea resumiendo
estoy jodido
y radiante
quizá más lo primero
que lo segundo
y también viceversa.
